TheMaterial Handler – Warehouseposition provides inventory, administrative, and material handling support to the Warehouse Operations for disposing of beer, quality holds
and quality lab samples,supportemployee beersalesand employee events. Performs inventory transactions in SAP to accountfor product changes. Provides administrative support for inbound deliveries and claims and dunnage returns.
WhatYou’llBe Brewing:
Dumping Beer
Stacking, wrapping,countingand transferring dump beer from dumping stations to specified dumping area for outsidecontractor to pick up.
Stacking,wrappingand transferringfiltecreject beer to specified dumping area for outside contractor to pick up
Moving beer dispositioned by Production Services for destruction to specified dump area for pick up by outside contractor.
Dumping handling units in the system that outside contractor turns in when dumping.
Rectifying numbers handwritten by outside contractor and those in system to keep billing from outside contractoraccurate
Keeping dump area clean and free of debris.
Purging dump beer from inventory system daily based on amount physically dumped, including KCR’s.
Sending daily count to outside contractor for billing and distributes copy internally as specified.
Responsible for working with Finance on end of the month Financial Destruction Forecast.
QUALITY HOLDS
Keeping the FPH log up to date (both SU/BS tab and FPH information tab)
Moving and releasing SU pallets after they have been dispositioned by doing a posting change.
Contacting Quality for clarification of holds that have not been dispositioned but are needed to make shipments.
Releasing, blocking, or taking product to dump per disposition from Quality.
Moving pallets to area to be sorted.
Keeping track of pallets when a sort is going on and releasing/destroying them after sort
Being a liaison between quality and finished goods to help with needs and sorts. Contacts Unit Managers todetermine
manpoweravailability for sorts/destruction.
Contacts production planners for work order numbers to provide to outside contractor.
EMPLOYEE BEER SALES
Coordinates with IPD/HEO for moving beer to Employee Sales area as Production Services releases in SAP it for sale.
Correlating with Production Services for beer out of inventory if needed to satisfy Employee Sales guidelines.
Keeping a good variety of beer on trailer for sale, while also making sure that beer with earlierexpirationdate goes on trailerfirst to help avoid dumpinggood product.
Keepingan accuratecount of trailer and sales area.
Keeping trailer and Employee Sales area clean and free of debris.
Making sure that trailer is moved from dock to Employee Sales and back again for loading as needed.
Keeping management informed oflarge quantitiesof beer that are close toexpiration, so that a possible give away or firesale may be considered.
Creating delivery with beer sold in store three times a week.
LAB SAMPLES
Pulls cases of beer from inventory for sampling and transports to Packaging.
Adjusts inventory in SAP to account for samples.
Asrequestedtransports pallet cases to shipping for deliver to vendor or other breweries.
PUB ORDER
Asrequestedpulls beer order from inventory and arranges for outside contractor to deliver to the Pub.
Adjust inventory in SAP to account for cases pulled.
INBOUND DELIVERIES & CLAIMS
Pick up BOL’s from dispatch daily.
Pick up green cards from beer flow daily.
Match up Bill of Lading and green cards per delivery andmaintainin file for future reference.
Go through“ inreview” Quantity dunnage claims and research for disposition via MillerCoorsConnect site.
Create mini returns for dunnage IBD’s that need another line item added.
Maintaina daily tracking sheet of IBD issues from the distributor and sending to Corporate monthly.
Maintaina daily tracking sheet on IBD discrepancies that need and inventory adjustment.
Maintain record of past IBD’s (keep 6 months on site) document and send documents older than 6 months to corporaterecord storage
Keeping an ample supply of Pallet Start Up /Code switch tags available in Warehouse file cabinet for Alvey operators to pickup.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Ingredients:
High School education or equivalent required.
3 years production/warehouse experiencerequired, forklift certification.
Working knowledge of SAP, excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of quality hold systems and inventory experience preferred.
Previousinventory experience preferred.
Strong capabilities in accuracy of record keeping and data entryrequired.
Ability to do repetitive lifting, 30 lbs.
