Material Handler

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Material Handler supports parts sales for the local area installed equipment base.  Primary responsibilities include receiving and shipping of all products, inventory control, cycle counting, and coordination of parts with the service department's internal and external customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and shipping materials and orders
  • Cycle counting and inventory control
  • Pulls parts and kitting for specific upgrades
  • Assists with order management as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Must be able to lift over 45 pounds on a regular basis
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good computer skills, understanding of Microsoft or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehousing, inventory management, or HVAC a plus 

Physical & Environmental Demands

  • Combination of office and warehouse environment
  • Moderate to heavy lifting on a regular basis
