Job Title: Production Associate $17-19

Job Description

Oversee the production line that manufactures a variety of fasteners for multiple automotive companies. The role involves performing visual inspections and quality checks on finished products, unloading hoppers, preparing boxes for shipment, and utilizing RF scanners to track outgoing inventory. You will also load boxes of fasteners onto conveyors, perform minor maintenance on machines as needed, assist with other production tasks as required, and ensure all job duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production line and ensure smooth operation.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products.
  • Unload hoppers and prepare boxes for shipment.
  • Utilize RF scanner to track outgoing inventory.
  • Load boxes of fasteners onto conveyor belts.
  • Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.
  • Assist with additional production tasks as required.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Essential Skills

  • General labor and production experience.
  • Ability to perform packing and general production tasks.
  • Proficient in using tape measures and other measuring tools.
  • Experience with machine operation and running production lines.
  • Attention to detail, particularly in quality checks and inspections.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous material handling experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean facility with a total of 180 employees across Ohio and Michigan sites, with Ohio being the larger location. Choose from 1st shift hours of 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm for Quality Department roles, or 2nd shift from 3pm-11:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
