Primary Purpose:

Under the leadership of the Executive Director of Communications, Marketing & Public Relations, the International Leadership of Texas Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy to attract new students and staff members, retain existing students and staff members, and support the overall growth of the ILTexas brand locally, nationally, and internationally. The ILTexas Marketing Manager will oversee the ILTexas brand, through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels, while also providing organizational insights through client analysis, campaign performance reporting, and other analytics.


Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or another related field


Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
  • Two to three years’ experience in Marketing, either in-house or in an agency
  • A track record of developing and delivering successful marketing strategies
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience with social media, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.



Major Responsibilities and Duties:


1. Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments

2. Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration

3. Lead ILTexas partnership with advertising partners

4. Produce valuable and engaging content for ILTexas website and social media that attracts and converts our target groups

5. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

6. Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

7. Ensure ILTexas brand integrity across all marketing channels

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; imaging equipment

Posture: Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, and reaching. Occasional pushing/pulling, and twisting

Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching

Lifting: Occasional light to moderate lifting and carrying (less than 44 pounds)

Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours

Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
