Company: Rothenberg Law Firm

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Industry: Personal Injury Law

About the Company

Rothenberg Law Firm is a 55+ year family-owned personal injury law firm with offices across New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. The firm operates in one of the most competitive legal markets in the country, leveraging a mix of digital performance marketing (PPC, SEO, LSA) and traditional brand channels (radio, TV, print, sponsorships).

The firm is actively investing in expanding its marketing function and is looking to bring more strategy, organization, and execution in-house.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact, cross-functional marketing role designed for someone who can act as the central operator across all marketing initiatives.

You will work directly with partners, the digital marketing lead, and external vendors to bring structure, execution, and cohesion across multiple channels. This role is less about specialization and more about connecting all moving parts into a unified strategy.

What You’ll Own

1. Marketing Operations & Strategy

  • Act as the quarterback of marketing initiatives across the firm
  • Build structure across multiple campaigns, partners, and channels
  • Help prioritize budget allocation across markets (NY, NJ, Philadelphia)
  • Align stakeholders (partners, digital team, vendors) around clear marketing plans

2. Campaign & Channel Execution

  • Support and collaborate on:
  • Google Ads (PPC, LSA)
  • SEO (in-house + vendor coordination)
  • Social media (currently outsourced, potential to bring in-house)
  • Branding channels (radio, TV, sponsorships)
  • Contribute to creative direction and messaging decisions across campaigns

3. CRM, Email & Database Marketing

  • Leverage Salesforce + Litify to activate a large, underutilized database
  • Build and execute:
  • Newsletters
  • Email campaigns
  • Client and referral communications
  • Develop campaigns tied to:
  • Events
  • Seasonal moments (e.g., holidays)
  • Case wins, firm updates, new practice areas

4. Events & Field Marketing

  • Own execution of community and brand events:
  • Legal education events
  • Community sponsorships
  • Safety and outreach initiatives

Manage:

  • Pre-event promotion (PR, outreach)
  • On-site execution (content capture, logistics)
  • Post-event amplification (PR, social, follow-ups)
  • Identify opportunities to increase ROI from events (currently under-leveraged)

5. Content & Brand Building

  • Support blog content and SEO-driven content strategy
  • Help evolve messaging in a competitive personal injury landscape
  • Ensure consistent storytelling across all touchpoints
  • Capture and distribute real-time content (events, community involvement)

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with:
  • SEO vendors
  • Social media agencies
  • Media partners (radio, sponsorships)
  • Evaluate what should stay outsourced vs. brought in-house

What Success Looks Like

  • Marketing becomes organized, proactive, and structured instead of reactive
  • Improved utilization of CRM/database for lead generation and retention
  • Stronger event ROI through pre/post amplification
  • Clear alignment across partners and marketing initiatives
  • Increased contribution of non-PPC channels to growth

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10+ years in marketing (agency or in-house)
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing environments
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working across:
  • Digital (PPC, SEO, email)
  • Brand (events, PR, sponsorships)
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
  • Bonus: Experience in legal, professional services, or highly competitive industries

Working Style

  • Hybrid role based in NYC (34th & 7th Ave office)
  • High collaboration with partners and internal teams
  • Hands-on execution + strategic input
  • Fast interview process

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to build and shape a growing marketing function
  • Exposure to high-budget, multi-channel marketing in a competitive space
  • Direct access to leadership and decision-making
  • Long-term growth potential within a stable, multi-generational firm

This role is for someone who:

  • Can bring order to chaos
  • Can connect multiple marketing channels into one cohesive system
  • Is comfortable operating without rigid structure
  • Wants to own marketing, not just execute pieces of it
