Marketing Manager - Wiley's Finest, New Albany OH


The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated, insight-driven marketing strategies to drive brand growth, revenue, and market share for Wiley’s Finest. This role owns both the strategic foundation and execution of omni-channel marketing initiatives across digital and retail channels.


This position requires a balance of hands-on execution, strategic thinking, and leadership development, with increasing ownership over market strategy, team leadership, and cross-functional impact over time.


Wiley’s Finest is a premium omega-3 brand focused on sustainability and quality, with strong roots in the natural channel and a growing presence in e-commerce.


This role reports to the Creative Director.


What you'll do:

  • Lead and develop a small marketing team, while collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee the annual marketing budget.
  • Contribute to building scalable marketing processes and best practices.
  • Establish and monitor marketing objectives and key results to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify trends, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to defining and prioritizing target customer segments.
  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Wiley’s Finest and drive the go-to-market strategy for new product launches and line extensions.


Own the strategic planning and operational execution of all marketing activities, including:


  • Paid media: Manage agencies and partners, monitor performance and ad spending across Meta, Google, Connected TV, TikTok Shop, etc.
  • Social media: Oversee content planning and execution across social platforms, including influencer and UGC program development.
  • Customer retention & direct to consumer e-commerce:
  • Partner with Customer Service and IT to manage Shopify DTC experience and performance optimization.
  • Support lifecycle marketing efforts (emails, SMS, automation, etc.).
  • Monitor subscriptions, loyalty programs, and customer feedback.
  • Oversee the development of all pop-ups, email campaigns, and flows.
  • Retail marketing & trade support: collaborate with sales, customer service, and fulfillment to develop and execute retail marketing programs (collateral, in-store initiatives, branded giveaways, etc.)
  • Public Relations & Communication: support brand storytelling through blogs, press releases, and brand messaging development.


What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to both marketing strategy and execution.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience leveraging consumer and market insights to inform decisions.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and management skills.
  • Emerging leadership capability, including experience mentoring others and/or leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) is a plus.
  • Proficient in O365 especially Outlook, Teams, & SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of marketing on the natural channel is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations related to supplement marketing is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a growing, evolving organization. An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for health & wellness is a plus.


Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, sit for extended periods of time, use hands and arms for work, talk and hear. The employee may need to occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.


Location:

We prefer someone who can work on-site in our New Albany, OH office on a hybrid basis. We will consider remote candidates located in the US only.


Travel Requirements:

Intermittent travel to visit customers, vendors, industry trade shows, training events and conferences is expected. Attendance of all major industry trade shows at which Wiley’s Finest is an exhibitor is expected. Regular travel is not expected to exceed ten (10) business days per year.


Shift and Hours:

This is a standard salaried position with normal working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday totaling approximately 2,080 hours per year. A typical year will involve working 4-6 weekends, although this may vary. Comp time will be offered, and allowances made to be respectful of personal life and family time.
