Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing the firm’s marketing strategy across digital, print, and event channels. This role oversees the Marketing team and ensures all marketing initiatives align with firm objectives, brand standards, and regulatory requirements. The Marketing Manager will partner closely with advisors, leadership, compliance, and strategic partners to deliver high-quality, compliant marketing materials that support business growth and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team responsible for social media, events, and marketing operations
- Establish clear goals, workflows, and performance expectations for the marketing team
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on execution and accountability
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that support advisor growth and firm-wide initiatives
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Partner with advisors and strategic vendors to customize marketing plans aligned with their business development goals
- Champion the use of AI-driven tools to scale content production, personalize customer journeys, and experience with innovative campaign formats while maintaining brand integrity
Content Development (Digital & Print)
- Lead the facilitation and creation of high-quality, compliant marketing materials including:
- Social media content and campaigns
- Email marketing communications
- Print collateral (brochures, presentations, pitch materials)
- Website and digital content
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and tone across all platforms
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Oversee social media strategy, content calendars, and platform management for both the firm and advisors
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize engagement strategies
- Ensure proper supervision, archiving, and compliance of social media activity
Events & Client Engagement
- Direct the planning and execution of client and prospect events, seminars, and corporate functions
- Facilitate firm’s philanthropic initiatives and events
Marketing Operations
- Oversee marketing workflows, tools, and systems to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Manage vendor relationships, marketing platforms, and external partners
- Track and report on marketing performance, KPIs, and campaign results
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Maintain a strong understanding of FINRA and SEC marketing and advertising regulations
- Partner closely with Compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements and are properly reviewed/approved
- Implement processes that ensure adherence to recordkeeping, disclosures, and supervision standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within financial services, wealth management, or an RIA
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Strong understanding of FINRA and SEC marketing and advertising guidelines
- Experience working with compliance teams and regulated content approval processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
