About the RoleThis internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, and event coordination within a high-end, customer-focused environment. The selected candidate will play an active role in the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives and the planning and delivery of events that enhance the Garage 42 member experience. This is an in-person, immersive role ideal for a student who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to build a real-world portfolio.What You'll DoMarketing & Content CreationSupport the creation of digital and print marketing content, including photography, video, and written materialsExecute daily social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn including feed posts, stories, and real-time content captureDraft marketing communications, including social media captions, blog content, and email campaignsContribute to website updates and content development to ensure alignment with brand standardsSupport promotional efforts for summer events and initiatives, including content development and audience outreachOn-Site Content & Facility PresenceMaintain a consistent, active presence within the Garage 42 facility to capture authentic, timely content including member moments, vehicle features, and day-to-day atmosphereServe as a real-time social storytelling resource that reflects the energy and culture of the space throughout the summerEvent Support & CoordinationAssist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Garage 42 summer eventsProvide hands-on support during events, including setup and breakdown, vendor coordination, logistics management, and live content captureSupport the development of standardized event planning processes and materialsMember ExperienceContribute to initiatives that enhance member engagement and overall summer experienceEngage professionally and warmly with members and guests on-site, representing the Garage 42 brand with polish in a high-end, member-facing environmentOther duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, or a related field (rising junior or senior preferred)Available for a full summer co-op/internship commitment, with availability for evening and weekend events as neededDemonstrated interest in automotive culture and/or luxury customer experiencesStrong written and visual communication skills, with an eye for elevated, brand-consistent contentHands-on experience managing social media platforms, including daily posting, stories, and real-time content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedInExperience with photography, videography, or graphic designProficiency with content editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Prior involvement in event planning, coordination, or on-site executionComfortable and confident in a member-facing, high-end environment able to represent the brand with professionalism and warmthAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyWork EnvironmentWork Setting: On-site at Garage 42 facility, with participation in off-site events as neededTravel: Required on occasion for event-related activitiesHours: Standard business hours with non-standard hours required, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support eventsOvertime: May be available and occasionally requiredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods during eventsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., event materials, equipment, signage)Ability to operate a camera or mobile device for extended periods while capturing photo and video contentAbility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions during eventsAbility to bend, reach, and set up basic event materials as neededAbility to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods
