We are seeking a Marketing Associate to support our Avison Young brokerage team with marketing, graphics, research, and communication initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and is eager to grow their marketing skillset within commercial real estate.


The Marketing Associate will assist with the development of presentations and property marketing materials, coordinate marketing activities, and help maintain brand consistency across all deliverables. This position works closely with senior marketing staff, research analysts, brokers, and regional teams to support business development efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, proposals, presentations, email campaigns, client updates, social media, digital/print publication advertising, targeted ads, market reports, etc.
  • Support property marketing campaigns by updating listing platforms and preparing collateral.
  • Photograph properties as needed, capturing digital photography, 360° imagery, and property videos to support marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in the post-production editing of digital photography and videography.
  • Help develop and format presentation decks, offering memoranda, and pitch materials.
  • Coordinate logistics and create collateral for client events, meetings, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all materials align with Avison Young’s brand standards and visual identity.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors such as drone operators, commercial printers, event suppliers, etc.
  • Collaborate with brokers and marketing teammates to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Research new marketing strategies and technologies for use by our marketing team and brokers.
  • Provide marketing support for internal, company-wide initiatives and events.
  • Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed.


Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with one to three years of relevant marketing or creative experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required, with a strong emphasis on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator as this role is highly design- and production-focused. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, well organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
