Title: Associate Manager, Audience Development

Hybrid: Los Angeles (Tues/Thurs in-office)

Pay: $20–22/hr w2

Length: 6+ month Maternity Leave Coverage


About the Role

A major music entertainment client is looking for a detail-oriented email marketing specialist to step in and own day-to-day CRM execution across multiple labels and an online store. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role covering a maternity leave. You'll build and deploy email campaigns, support SMS efforts, and keep the trains running on time across a busy release calendar. The team moves fast, accuracy matters, and you'll be embedded with the label team on in-office days.

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute email campaigns daily, primarily via drag-and-drop editors (HTML knowledge is a plus for custom builds)
  • Manage the email/SMS calendar and coordinate timelines across the roster and priority releases
  • Handle basic Photoshop edits for campaign assets; resizing, formatting, light creative adjustments
  • QA everything before it goes out. Attention to detail is non-negotiable.
  • Support SMS campaigns across platforms like Attentive, Slicktext, or Community as needed
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with label, creative, ecommerce, and analytics teams
  • Track and report on campaign performance, surfacing insights that inform what comes next


What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of hands-on email marketing/CRM experience.
  • Comfortable with email builds (Most are built via drag and drop)
  • Basic Photoshop skills for everyday asset editing
  • Strong project management instincts
  • Clear communicator who can work across all levels of the org


Nice to Haves


  • Email marketing experience in the music industry
  • Experience with Dot Digital.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Familiarity with SMS platforms (Attentive, Slicktext, Community)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume corporate environments
