Marketing and Sales Coordinator

We are partnering with our Berkeley, CA retail client to recruit a Marketing and Sales Coordinator to join their team on a short-term contract basis for 1-2 months. This is a hybrid role in their East Bay office three days per week. In this position, you will join a thriving, integrated team of marketing, sales and customer care staff during their busy seasons, supporting a variety of marketing projects, customer and vendor inquiries, and project coordination efforts. In this role, you will use the organization’s ticketing system inbox to monitor customer and vendor inquires, responding as you are able to support and escalating questions to the proper internal teams for additional support. You will consistently review outgoing marketing materials, including signage, promotional materials and similar, to review accuracy and brand alignment. More than anything, you will be aiding in streamlining marketing projects in their project management tool, tracking requests, joining intakes, and keeping all parties aligned on timelines, budgets and specifications. To be a fit, you should bring 1+ year of dedicated marketing or sales support experience, with a knack for project management and experience working in a request or ticket-based environment. Proficiency in ticketing tools (Zendesk, Jira, etc.) and project management software is required.

This is an opportunity to join a well-known, East Bay retail brand with a fun, colorful style! This role is set to be 1+ month and will be hybrid three days weekly in their East Bay office – it is an urgent need, so those qualified and able to jump into this project quickly are encouraged to apply. This is a 40 hour per week, W2 contract role, with payroll and benefits through LHH. Hourly pay ranges from $25 to $30 an hour, depending on relevant experience. Benefits for LHH contractors include medical, dental, vision and 401(K) options, with sick time accruing at the California rate.

You will:

• Join a thriving, integrated team of marketing, sales and customer care staff during their busy season, supporting a variety of marketing projects, customer and vendor inquiries, and project coordination efforts
• Maintain a pulse on departmental projects, programs and initiatives for marketing, sales and customer care teams, coordinating projects, monitoring timelines and budgets, scheduling and launching meetings and kick-offs, etc.
• Review marketing assets, materials, advertisements and similar on a weekly basis, ensuring projects are aligned with brand guidelines, display accurate information, and are ready to go-live
• Support sales and customer service in customer and vendor inquiry tracking and engagement, using their ticketing system; Respond to inquiries as able, route additional and escalated needs to proper teams
• Support other marketing and sales support projects, as needed, to streamline and enable these teams

Your experience should include:

• 1+ year of dedicated marketing or sales support experience, with a knack for project management and experience working in a request or ticket-based environment
• Experience working in project management (Monday, Basecamp, Asana, etc.) and/or ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk, etc.)
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with professional experience coordinating projects, maintaining timelines and aligning budgets
• Experience in a creative environment with hands-on exposure to digital and print campaign materials; Experience aligning brand guidelines with these campaigns and materials
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
