Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician performs hands-on mechanical work to fabricate and assemble aerospace structures and components using standard hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment. This mid-level role focuses on precision sheet metal fabrication and structural assembly for aircraft and aerospace applications, following detailed work instructions, process sheets, and blueprints to ensure high quality and compliance with specifications. The technician operates a variety of forming and machining equipment, handles delicate aerospace components with care, and supports both assembly and machining operations through cross-training.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility focused on aerospace structures and assemblies, working with sheet metal fabrication and structural assembly equipment. You will regularly use standard hand tools, power tools, inspection equipment, deburring tools, presses, brakes, forming equipment, water jets, and small CNC machines. The position typically follows a weekday schedule with options for a day shift (Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) or a night shift (Monday through Friday, approximately 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), supporting consistent and steady production. The environment is hands-on and shop-floor oriented, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and adherence to established procedures. You can expect a collaborative atmosphere where communication with teammates is encouraged and where maintaining a clean, orderly work area is a core expectation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
