- Ensure all technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions are accurately transferred and updated for the new site.
- Coordinate with the Asia-based team to ensure a smooth hand-off of technical knowledge and hardware.
- Serve as the primary link between the Asia team, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, QA, Facility, and Finance to ensure all departments are fully aligned on project needs.
- Ensure all newly installed equipment and processes meet OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Partner with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available for the new line’s start date.
- Prepare the manufacturing lines for internal and external quality audits during and after the setup.
- Document "lessons learned" during the transfer to improve future manufacturing expansion projects.
- Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership regarding the status of the new manufacturing site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience managing complex projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Sensitivity and skill in working across different cultures and time zones, especially between the U.S. and Asia.
- Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English to facilitate technical discussions and prevent communication gaps between the Asia team and the U.S. team.
