Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12 Months

Pay: $19/hr on W2(Inclusive all)

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts (Monday – Friday):

  • 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Shifts may change week-to-week based on business needs


Job Description

The Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting daily production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe workspace, assisting with production processes, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.

Key responsibilities include performing general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, emptying trash containers, and removing production debris (e.g., shavings). The technician will support operations across multiple production lines, including extrusion, tapeline, and cover line processes.

The role also involves monitoring equipment performance, assisting with machine setup, maintaining product quality standards, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The technician will work closely with operators and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing skills across multiple production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties on the production floor
  • Support daily operations across multiple production lines
  • Monitor equipment performance and report issues
  • Assist with machine setup and basic operational tasks
  • Maintain quality standards and follow production guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior forklift operation experience required
  • Prior crane operation experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and physical labor
  • Requires standing, moving, lifting, and repetitive tasks
