Manufacturing Operations Shift Manager – Aluminum Extrusion
We're seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Shift Manager to lead 2nd-shift production at a fast-paced aluminum extrusion facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, and production performance while leading teams on the floor, resolving issues in real time, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Aluminum Extrusion manufacturing operations experience.
- Prior leadership experience on an off-shift (2nd or 3rd shift) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Lead all 2nd shift production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
- Ensure effective communication and handoff between shifts
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions quickly
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly team members
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
- Manage workflow, labor, and materials to ensure uninterrupted production
- Track and communicate key KPIs, including OEE, scrap, and on-time delivery
