We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations in a newly expanded manufacturing environment focused on Power Distribution Units (PDUs), DataBar systems, and cable assemblies. This is a hands-on manufacturing floor role centered on process development, production support, and continuous improvement — not a product design position. Ideal candidates will have strong manufacturing experience, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Create and maintain assembly instructions, process documentation, and work procedures
  • Analyze workflow, labor utilization, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency
  • Support new product introductions by identifying opportunities for process optimization
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for manufacturing and assembly-related issues on the production floor
  • Troubleshoot assembly problems and implement corrective actions alongside production teams
  • Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Test Engineering, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Monitor product quality and manufacturing performance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and operational costs for management planning
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and workflow enhancements
  • Train and support production personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
  • Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or engineering support experience without a degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) for viewing and interpreting drawings
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment
  • Experience with process improvements, workflow optimization, and lean manufacturing

  • Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
