The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or related field with at least 3 years' experience working in metal machining environment, or 20 years' machining experience in a broad array of equipment, focused on process improvement, in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities
- Machining process development — Develop, define, review, and analyze machining production processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Process optimization — Identify and implement machining and workflow improvements that streamline operations.
- Control plans & PFMEAs — Create and maintain machining control plans and PFMEAs.
- New product introduction — Lead the development and launch of new products, ensuring manufacturability and accurate work instructions.
- Technical troubleshooting — Support technical issue resolution for new and modified products.
- Value Stream support — Ensure efficient machining methods and proper tooling for new product launches.
- Cost saving initiatives — Identify and evaluate product and process cost reduction opportunities.
- Equipment & technology evaluation — Research and recommend new machining equipment and technologies to improve processes.
