In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations, focusing on expanding technology capabilities and streamlining systems to bring innovative new products to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Innovate & Troubleshoot: Create and document processes for complex composite manufacturing, including resin transfer molding and oven programming.

  • Drive Quality: Take ownership of product readiness, workmanship, and functionality to ensure every customer receives excellence.

  • Optimize Operations: Design efficient layouts, plan workforce utilization, and justify capital expenditures for new equipment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain a "lessons learned" program to boost productivity and employee satisfaction.

  • Collaborate: Liaise with engineering to fix machinery issues and work with vendors to source materials and parts.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience; knowledge of ISO9000, Nadcap, or Six Sigma is highly preferred.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook; Epicor experience is a major plus.

  • Mindset: A systematic approach to difficult technical problems and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

  • Requirements: U.S. Citizenship, a favorable background check, and a negative drug screen.

Work Environment & Physical Perks:
  • Dynamic Settings: A mix of office-based design (3–4 hours/day) and hands-on work in the manufacturing environment.

  • Travel: Minimal travel required (approximately 10%).

  • Safety First: Must be comfortable working around moving mechanical parts and following safety precautions for hazardous materials.
