Who we’re looking for

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Onsite Supplier Production Control Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Analysts and develop on site suppliers, internal shops and other departments at TMMTX to ensure an adequate flow of Tier 1 and Tier 2 parts and components to protect the supply chain.

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Internal Logistics Engineering Projects, the person in this role will support and manage all aspects of OSS production, ensuring hoshin activity is implemented to achieve KPIs for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and human resource development.

What you’ll be doing

  • The On‑Site Supplier (OSS) Manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and aligning all On‑Site Supplier activities to support TMMTX’s business objectives, production requirements, and long‑term strategy.

  • This role serves as the primary interface between TMMTX leadership and On‑Site Supplier leadership, ensuring seamless communication, execution excellence, and proactive issue resolution across the manufacturing campus.

  • This position carries a strong floor‑side leadership focus, with direct engagement in Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Material Conveyance operations.

  • The OSS Operations Manager ensures that supplier performance, processes, and behaviors are fully aligned with the TMMTX Hoshin (Business Plan), policies, and operating standards.

  • Facilitate communication meetings with the OSS, TX Leadership, and/or manufacturing shops to review best practices, change points, and future plans to promote teamwork throughout the our campus.

  • Developing your team to facilitate effective problem solving amongst their suppliers and their capability effectively communicate up to the executive level.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or 8 years of equivalent professional experience in Production Control, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, or Production

  • Experience developing strategic plans and leading a team to achieve hoshin (annual plan) objectives

  • Experience with problem‑solving methodologies such as TBP, JKK, PDCA, A3, and 5-Why

  • Toyota Business Practice (TBP) completion through panel

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and grow team capability

  • Available to support off-shift work, including all shifts, weekend and shutdown support as needed and after-hours availability for supply chain interruption

  • Completion of or agreement to complete the Manger Development program or agreement to complete within 24 months

  • Proven use of Mendomi (care and commitment) resulting in process improvements and team engagement

Added bonus if you have

  • Supervisory experience, with responsibility for direct reports

  • Completion of Manger Development program or agreement to complete within 24 months

  • Completed OJD through reflection

  • Experience and/or exposure to Data Analysis tools such as Power BI and Power Apps

  • Direct working experience in Toyota PC
