The Manager of K-12 Education Vertical Operations & Business Development will champion CNB Computers' expansion across North American K-12 school districts. This unique hybrid leader will bridge business development with physical logistics. The position balances driving B2B contract sales with structural oversight of warehouse management, inventory control, white-glove service, supply chain risk management, and facility safety infrastructure
Core Responsibilities
1. Computer Sales & K-12 Education Vertical Expansion (35%)
- Target Accountability: Meet or exceed K-12 procurement, RFP response goals, and annual institutional sales quotas
- Network Cultivation: Secure technology partnerships with school districts, educational service centers, and public-sector cooperative purchasing boards.
- Customized Solutions: Coordinate custom volume orders featuring unique software configurations, asset-tagging deployment, and extended warranties.
- ITAD Optimization: Advance the K-12 IT Asset Disposition Buyback Program, acquiring used tier-1 hardware assets directly from schools.
2. Warehouse Management (25%)
- Production Integrity: Direct the local production schedules for white-glove servicing for laptop and Chromebook lines.
- KPI Delivery: Track operational benchmarks across inventory processing, order building, quality control, and timely delivery
- Inventory Control: Implement strict inventory auditing, utilizing specialized systems to support continuous process improvement and asset
3. End-to-End Supply Chain Management (20%)
- Logistics & Scheduling: Manage complex freight shipments to handle bulk distributions during peak, time-sensitive back-to-school high-volume seasons
- Risk Management: Implement corporate Supply Chain Risk Management protocols, validating asset tracking.
4. Facility Management & Safety (20%)
- Physical Space Infrastructure: Coordinate efficient physical warehouse system layouts, facility equipment procurement, and equipment preservation
- Administrative Procedures: Oversee facility maintenance documentation, safety practices, shipping dock parameters, and regulatory compliance protocols
- Workforce Mentorship: Lead, schedule, train, and coach warehouse technicians and local customer support staff to maximize retention and minimize operational friction
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years of blended professional experience managing B2B/public sector account sales, electronics warehouse production lines, or tech hardware supply chains
- K-12 Education Vertical Knowledge: Background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related industries. Clear familiarity with public sector procurement, RFP bids, or EdTech systems is strongly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), in-depth knowledge of computers (desktops, laptops, AIO & LCD) components, models, and configuration, and MS Office Suite
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated strengths in time-management, matrix-driven performance, communication across executive and production teams, and analytical problem-solving
