This position provides an opportunity to engage with international leaders in a range of fields, support U.S. foreign policy goals, and help build international partnerships by arranging short-term exchange programs. The position will be filled at a level based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience. Candidates must meet all Manager Level requirements to be considered for the Manager role; otherwise, they may be considered for an International Program Coordinator position with adjusted scope and supervisory responsibilities while supporting the same core programs.Essential ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned. International Exchange Program Management (Approximately 95%)Plan and implement professional and cultural programs for international visitors, including drafting project proposals, scheduling meetings with speakers, arranging home hospitality and cultural activities, accompanying delegations, and responding to afterhours issues or emergencies as needed.Manage multiple concurrent IVLP and FFS projects, ensuring highquality experiences and compliance with U.S. Department of State and client requirements.Actively pursue new FFS opportunities and grant funding; manage all components of applications and program delivery. Arrange approximately 3-5 FFS projects annually (Manager level).Build, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with National Programming Agencies, the U.S. Department of State, clients, and community stakeholders.Coordinate program logistics, including hotels, transportation, meeting spaces, and vendor procurement.Monitor program outcomes, maintain accurate data, and prepare required documentation and reports for grants, funders, and the Board of Directors.Prepare invoices and track program payments.Collaborate with the WTCNC team to support organizational strategy and advocate for continued international programming in Sacramento, including participation in national and regional conferences. Supervision and Program OversightMay supervise staff and contractors, as appropriate to role level.Recruit and supervise unpaid interns, including training and assignments. Events, Marketing, and Communications (Approximately 5%)Contribute to GTSac/WTCNC communications efforts through program reports, updates, website content, email outreach, and social media.Represent GTSac by presenting on its mission and exchange programs to community audiences.Support occasional community events, including logistics and outreach.
