Description:
Responsible for accurate and efficient management of coding and reimbursement of interventional procedures (Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Neuro, and Electrophysiology) system wide.Oversee the review of prior authorizations for all Baptist Health facilities that perform cardiac and vascular interventional procedures.Manages overall activities of personnel to ensure timeliness and compliance with CMS, OIG, and BHSF account receivables goals.

- AAPC Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder.
- Registered Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing with clinical experience in interventional procedures (Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Vascular, Interventional Neuro, or Electrophysiology).
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience with demonstrated leadership, personnel management, problem-solving, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work within large multi-hospital/ASC auditing and interventional coding depts and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- At least 5 years of multi-specialty chart auditing, review, and coding experience relevant to dept specialties, including experience in auditing and coding education.
- Possesses current clinical knowledge to efficiently and concurrently review medical records and identify opportunities for improved documentation.
- Must be able to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while delivering exemplary customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow prescribed routines, and complete assignments with accuracy and professionalism.
- Must exhibit strong work ethic, sound judgment, honesty, dependability, and loyalty, and be a trustworthy individual with the integrity to foster an open, collaborative, and positive work environment.
