UPMC Hamot Breast Imaging is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Mammographer to join our dedicated team in Erie, PA. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000 with a 2-year work commitment.

Performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Completion of approved Mammography Training Course that fulfills the requirements set forth by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) in preparation for Mammography certification board examination within 30 days of hire.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
American Registry Radiologic Technologists.
Must obtain Mammography registration within 12 months of hire date.
CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. All Mammographers working in NY facilities performing the duties of a Diagnostic Technologist are required to have received certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department of Health.
