Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $30 - $33

Shift: 2nd (1:30P-9P)

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. You will work with various machinery components and assist other maintenance mechanics as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose problems by inspecting and disassembling equipment to determine the extent of necessary repairs.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs and preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Use drawings, diagrams, operational manuals, and manufacturing specifications to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Repair and rebuild parts such as pneumatic valves, air cylinders, hydraulic pumps, and systems.
  • Assist other Maintenance Mechanics with machine and equipment projects.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, pumps, and valves.
  • Minimum of five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical certification and PLC certification preferred.
  • Basic welding skills or willingness to learn.
  • Own tools, steel toe shoes, and multi-meter required (most tools and toolboxes are provided by the company, and broken tools are replaced by the company).

Work Environment

You will be working in a facility that produces icing for grocery stores and brands like Cinnabon and Hershey's. The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucker, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
