Maintenance Technician - Up to $35/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Job Description

This role focuses on industrial and manufacturing maintenance, performing both electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting in a production environment. You will help minimize equipment downtime by carrying out preventative maintenance and resolving electrical issues on production machinery.

Prior experience in the field is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on industrial production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical maintenance problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with a small maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical and mechanical systems.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills for production equipment.
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs on industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
• Capability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Comfort working in a production environment with industrial equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any education related to maintenance or the electrical industry is a plus.
• Certifications related to maintenance or the electrical industry are an advantage.
• Experience working as part of a small maintenance team is beneficial.

Work Environment

This position operates in an industrial manufacturing setting as part of a small maintenance team. Available shifts include 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. You will work directly with production equipment and industrial systems in a hands-on environment that values teamwork, reliability, and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Joseph,MO.
