Job Description

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. This role provides an exciting opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while also mentoring junior technicians to help them advance in their careers.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to foster their professional development.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Experience with maintenance, automation, and control systems.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• 2+ years of experience in conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
• 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating safety standards.
• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to move up to 49lbs and stand or walk for shifts up to 12 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $66040.00 - $66040.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
