Job Title: Facilities Operations Assistant
Duration: 3+ Months Contract with possible extension
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Role Summary:
Supports the operation and maintenance of leased or owned facilities, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and technical sites. Ensures compliance with all local, state, federal, and OSHA regulations while assisting with daily facility operations, security, energy conservation, office equipment, and build-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and furniture maintenance.
- Assist with office reconfigurations, furniture/equipment moves, and AV setup for meetings/events.
- Manage vendor coordination for minor repairs; review invoices and service tickets.
- Conduct routine facility inspections, safety observations, and emergency response.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, parts, and stock.
- Support minor landscaping, janitorial, mail, shipping/receiving, and security tasks.
- Assist with special projects, office modifications, and event planning.
- Review and act on work requests in UET system to meet SLAs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: HS diploma/GED or relevant work experience; 1+ year in facilities operations; working knowledge of MS Word/Excel; valid state driver’s license; strong organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred: AS/AA or technical certification; lifting equipment certification; telecom industry experience; experience with commercial chillers, boilers, HVAC, VFD drives, and automated building systems.
