Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic


Hours Required: 2:30P – 1:00A ; 4 -10-hour shifts with rotating 4-day weekends


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Jessup, PA. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, building systems, and support machinery to minimize downtime. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and safety standards. The role will also involve troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, documenting work performed, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability. The technician will follow all safety procedures, participate in shift handoffs, support continuous improvement initiatives, and may assist with installations and upgrades.


Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance to support production and facility systems.
  • Preferred experience in industrial electrical, mechanical, welding, or HVAC work.
  • Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of mechanical & electrical equipment.
  • Ability to perform and document preventive maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, with familiarity using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and following established procedures and regulations.
