Maintenance Technician Intern

As a Maintenance Technician Intern, you will ensure operation of machinery and equipment by performing highly diversified maintenance tasks, both planned and unplanned.As a Maintenance Technician Intern, you will have the opportunity to attend college while gaining maintenance experience by working part-time with experienced maintenance associates. Every day as the Maintenance Technician Intern you will...

• Operate maintenance shop equipment including band saws, bench grinders, drill presses, etc.
• Operate and effectively use power and mechanical hand tools.
• Perform MIG welding
• Fabricate structures, guards and fixtures using steel profiles (tubing, angle, flat stock, etc.)
• Learn how to maintain, fix and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues in our equipment
• Learn maintenance best practices utilizing our existing systems and processes.

To thrive in this role, you must...

• Have a college degree or be pursuing a college degree in a maintenance related field while gaining field experience.
• Have basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Be tech savvy and demonstrate interest in new systems and technologies
• Be proactive, self-driven and have good customer service attitude
