The Maintenance Technician must be able to repair, install, replace, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment. They will also diagnose equipment failure and make repairs to equipment per manufacture recommendations and / or appropriate instructions. This position is 1st shift, 6 am – 2 pm, Monday – Friday.
Tasks
Required Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and do basic PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Siemens)
- Have basic knowledge of O.S.H.A., State and Local codes. Ability to repair defective parts in compliance with O.S.H.A., State and Local codes
- Ability to maintain appropriate records such as work orders, timesheets, etc. Ability to operate all maintenance equipment in accordance with safety requirements
- Root cause problem-solving and creative thinking. Must be able to work independently with a sense of urgency as well as lead a small project team
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on knowledge in using Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with SAP (or other ERP systems).
-High School Dipolma or GED
-Successful completion of an Industrial Maintenance program or related program, certification, diploma, or Journeyman’s certification.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and/or hydraulic systems.
