Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in pharmaceutical or high-speed manufacturing environments, who are adept at handling and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control issues on all production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Repair, adjust, and troubleshoot plant-wide control and instrumentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Maintain electronic equipment maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines.
  • Provide technical support to other plant departments.
  • Use electronics, instruments, and controls to perform system analysis of system equipment.
  • Ensure all in-house instrumentation is documented, including preventative maintenance.
  • Assist in set-ups, changeovers, and start-up adjustments of equipment as necessary.
  • Evaluate and order critical spare parts.
  • Complete necessary corrective and preventative work orders, as well as assigned trainings.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.
  • Be able to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain gowning status.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairs on high-speed packaging equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs (specifically Allen Bradley & Siemens).
  • Capability to troubleshoot up to 480V.
  • Working knowledge of various meters.
  • Understanding of instrumentation and controls.
  • Ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with manufacturers worldwide.
  • Knowledge of vision systems is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, including oscilloscopes, volt/ampere meters, frequency standards, calibration equipment, and programmable logic controllers/HMI.
  • Experience in equipment corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and spare part systems.

Work Environment

Our facility is a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment that is extremely clean and climate-controlled. The position is for the 2nd shift, which operates from Monday to Friday, 11pm to 7:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford Heights, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
