Job Description
This temporary Facilities Technician role supports a busy retail mall by handling a wide range of hands-on handyman and facilities maintenance tasks while a team member is out recovering. You will focus on light repairs, basic maintenance, and general upkeep of the property, without responsibility for complex HVAC, boiler, chiller, or large mechanical system maintenance.

Work Environment
The Facilities Technician works on-site in a large retail mall environment, moving between public areas, back-of-house spaces, and mechanical rooms throughout the day. The role involves frequent use of hand tools and basic power tools, as well as working with materials such as paint, drywall, tile, locks, and small mechanical components. Work hours typically align with mall operating and maintenance schedules, which may include early mornings or later hours to complete tasks with minimal disruption to shoppers and tenants. The position is physically active, requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Attire should be practical and appropriate for maintenance work, allowing safe use of tools and equipment and compliance with any on-site safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment when needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
