**Must Pass a Background Check**Position Overview:Do you enjoy working in a manufacturing environment (indoors or outdoors), operating equipment, and performing maintenance tasks? We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across a manufacturing plant. This role ensures that all facilities are functional, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and groundskeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs of facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Mow, trim, and maintain lawns and grounds; assist with seasonal landscaping tasks.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and document completed work.
- Assist in setting up or preparing areas for events or projects as needed.
- Ensure facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors when necessary and report issues to supervisors.
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, repair, or groundskeeping.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean background!
