We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with strong millwright, fabrication, machining, and industrial troubleshooting capabilities to lead maintenance operations in a high-production truss manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues while directing technicians and coordinating maintenance activities across the facility. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in machinery installation, fabrication, welding, machining, and maintenance leadership while maintaining a strong focus on equipment reliability, safety, and technician development.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance operations and coordinate technician workloads
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment failures
- Oversee installation, rebuild, and alignment of industrial machinery
- Support fabrication projects including machine modifications and structural improvements
- Guide technicians through troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, and controls
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs are executed
- Coordinate equipment repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions
- Mentor and develop maintenance technicians
- Ensure maintenance work meets safety standards and electrical code requirements
- Partner with operations and engineering to improve plant reliability and equipment performance

- Custom fabricated equipment and plant modifications

- MIG / TIG / Stick welding equipment

- Electrical diagnostic tools and meters
Must Haves:
- 10–15+ years of industrial maintenance experience, 2+ years of leadership experience
- Strong millwright background with mechanical troubleshooting expertise
- Extensive welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Experience operating machining equipment such as mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of motors, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systems
Plusses:
- Experience with truss manufacturing equipment or similar automated production equipment preferred
$85,000 to $95,000 per year annual salary.
