About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for driving the planning and coordination of maintenance work scopes from initiation through completion. This role ensures that all required personnel, tooling, materials, and scheduling components are accurately aligned to deliver efficient and timely execution of maintenance activities.

You will serve as a key liaison between operations, quality, purchasing, and customers, ensuring full alignment on work scope expectations, timelines, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and adjust maintenance schedules to support operational execution
• Coordinate personnel assignments based on skill level, availability, and task requirements
• Prepare and issue job quotes aligned with customer contracts and service expectations
• Track job progression and provide consistent updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure accurate invoicing data by compiling post-job documentation and reports
• Coordinate across operations, quality, and procurement teams to resolve delays and ensure smooth workflow
• Monitor tooling, parts, and materials movement to ensure availability and compliance with aviation regulations
• Ensure all maintenance planning activities comply with FAA Part 145 and internal safety standards
• Support problem resolution and maintain service continuity across multiple active work scopes

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of aviation maintenance, propulsion, or repair station experience
• FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License required (or equivalent qualification with degree pathway)
• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance operations, ideally within Part 145 environments
• Experience with hangar operations, maintenance coordination, or engine support activities
• SAP or similar enterprise systems experience preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment
