POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting and driving Quality within Manufacturing operations at A.T. Wall, as well as supporting the day-to-day QA dept functions including inspection and MRB. Focus on targeted Manufacturing Quality objectives with the aim of improving first pass yield, repeatability and scrap reduction. Ensuring that products, processes and measurement equipment meet established standards of quality, safety, and performance, whilst maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 requirements. Perform internal audits, and liaise with Customers, Suppliers and 3rd party auditors as needed.
The Technician will also participate in the development of training for manufacturing and QC and Mfg. personnel, and work closely with production teams to resolve issues, ensure compliance with requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality control processes are essential in this position.
