Job DescriptionMaintenance Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Engineer
The Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer plays a dual role—supporting both the Maintenance team and a cross-functional Plant team including engineers, chemists, researchers, and technologists.
The Engineer maintains the site’s Electrical and Instrument infrastructure and equipment. Instrumentation work includes flow, level, temperature, weigh systems and control valves. They also support programmable logic controller (PLC) work and Distributed Control System (DCS) programming.
Baton Rouge has Research & Development (R&D) and manufacturing capabilities. A dedicated team performs fundamental research and product development in the laboratories, pilot plant, scale-up, as well as full-scale manufacturing.
The Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer is in Baton Rouge, LA and reports to the Maintenance Reliability Leader, working a straight-day, 9/80 schedule.
