Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventative and routine maintenance on Colimatic machines. You will also build new machines or adapt current machines for different products, ensuring both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks are efficiently executed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Colimatic machines.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Build new machines or adapt current machines to suit different product requirements.
• Execute both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, 110 volt-220 volt circuits, and hydraulics.
• Perform facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing and drywall repairs.

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical repair and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and hydraulics systems.

• Experience working with Colimatic machines.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, including plumbing and drywall.

This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire position with potential for long-term employment after 5 months. Working here provides a chance to develop skills in a clean room environment, with structured training schedules allowing for growth and advancement.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a clean room where clean room gear must be worn at all times. Initial training takes place on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm for several weeks, eventually transitioning to the 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Placentia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Placentia,CA.
