This role focuses on proactive and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment in an automotive and medical production environment that uses aluminum and rubber components. You will perform approximately 50% electrical and 50% mechanical work on presses, molding machines, trimmers, and related equipment, with about 20% of your time dedicated to utilities and facilities tasks. The position requires strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work safely around chemicals, and experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. You will help rebuild and strengthen the maintenance team by ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that supports both professional and personal well-being. The organization offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401(k) retirement program to help plan for the future. Company-paid term life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage provide added security, with options to purchase additional life insurance. Additional support includes identity theft assistance, will preparation services, flexible spending accounts, and an employee assistance program. A strong focus on work-life balance is reflected through paid vacation time, paid sick time, and twelve paid holidays each year. The environment encourages learning and skill development, including support for relevant licenses such as boiler operation, and provides the stability and camaraderie of a union setting.
