CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist - 1st Shift - 35/hr - Direct Placement

Responsibilities

• Perform machining and in-process inspections as required.
• Set up parts and tools independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Conduct standard and periodic maintenance on equipment.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of machining experience with manual mills or lathes.
• Proficiency in performing part and tool setups.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with feeds, speeds, and cutter selection.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and parallels.
• Possession of personal tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and parallels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with VTL or CNC operations.
• Familiarity with equipment such as QTN-100, QTN-250, QTN-350, QTN-450, and Doosan V420T Lathe.
• Knowledge of controls like 640T Nexus, Matrix 2, Smooth EZ, and Fanuc 18T.
• Experience with Haas VF-1, VF-3, Hurco VMX24i, VMX42i.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled environment equipped with advanced machinery, including QTN-100, QTN-250, QTN-350, QTN-450 with various controls, Doosan V420T Lathe, and manual lathes. Utilize CNC machines such as Haas VF-1, VF-3, and Hurco VMX24i, VMX42i. The shop is equipped with advanced technologies to support efficient and precise machining operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
