Experience & Qualifications:
- Understand Aerospace requirements.
- Able to operate various manual lathe, mill, CNC mill, multi-axis machines and grinding machinery (do not need experience with all!)
- Fluent in blueprint interpretation and GDT symbols.
- Proficient Math skills
- Knowledgeable in cutting tool selection, speeds/feeds.
- Knowledge of working with various type of metals
- Take measurement and determine correctness using: CMMs, micrometer, depth gages, etc.
- Engage and embrace good manufacturing and safety practices
- Ability to work independently.
- Good working knowledge of various metals.
Shifts:
- 1st shift is 7am-5:30pm
- 2nd shift is M-Th 5:30pm-2am and Fri 3:30pm - 12am with 10% shift differential
- Very common for employees to work 12 hours shifts to take advantage of OT policy
