Swiss CNC Machinist – Operator or Setup

Pay: $25–$35/hour (DOE)

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd & Weekend Shift

Schedules: Flexible – 4×10s or 5×8s

Overtime: Available + OT incentives

Work Environment: Climate‑controlled

About the Role

We’re hiring Swiss CNC Machinists at both the Operator and Setup level to support a growing precision machining operation. This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy working with complex, tight‑tolerance parts, value schedule flexibility, and want consistent overtime opportunities.

Whether you’re a strong Swiss operator or an experienced setup machinist, we’re open to a range of experience levels and are happy to align the role to your strengths.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and/or operate Swiss‑style CNC machines
• Run Citizen Miyano Swiss machines (dual Y‑axis experience is a plus)
• Load materials, perform tool changes, and make offset adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Perform first‑article inspections and maintain tight tolerances (±0.0002”)
• Monitor part quality and make in‑process adjustments
• Support continuous improvement and work closely with engineering and leads

Skills & Experience

(Not all are required — flexibility based on experience)

• Experience operating or setting up Swiss CNC machines
• Setup skills including tooling, offsets, and first‑article inspections OR strong Swiss operator experience
• Understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools
• Experience working in high‑precision manufacturing environments
• Ability to work independently and stay production focused
• Willingness to learn, grow, and support team success

This is a Contract position based out of Jordan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
