Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery used in fabrication, machining, and assembly processes to produce high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC programming and automation systems, and experience working within a manufacturing environment. Duties

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools to ensure precise manufacturing output.
  • Set up and calibrate machinery including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication equipment using technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Fanuc systems to automate machine functions and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify product specifications.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment for materials handling and inventory management.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Read blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD files, and SolidWorks models for accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Use hand tools and tooling for assembly line tasks, fabrication, welding, or adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols while supporting packaging and final product inspection.
  • Collaborate with team members on production schedules, tooling setups, and process improvements.


Experience

  • Proven factory experience in manufacturing or machining environments with hands-on operation of CNC equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, or stamping presses.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls, CAM programming, CNC programming, and troubleshooting automation systems.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, mechanical principles, and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience with materials handling equipment including forklifts is preferred.
  • Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.
  • Ability to operate hand tools effectively within an assembly line or fabrication setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and quality control procedures.
  • Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with factory logistics is advantageous.
