Compensation, Shift, & Location Details

• Pay Rate: $17.50 /hr (Base) + $1.00 increase upon direct hire
• (1st Shift) Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM / Overtime Friday, 6:00 AM 12:00 PM
• Location: Kettering, OH 45429
• Experience: 2+ years in specialized machine operation, preferably with welding

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work within a high-speed remanufacturing team to repair, replace, and refurbish Torque Converters to exact specifications.

• Technical Operation: Utilize Mig/Tig welding processes and operate manual lathes and bonding equipment.
• Precision Assembly: Install final product components using various hand and power tools.
• Quality Assurance: Verify all parts and inspect for defects to ensure productivity goals meet high-quality standards.
• Compliance: Maintain a safe workspace by following OSHA, L&I, and established company safety protocols.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Proven Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in machine operation, specifically with welding or lathes.
• Physical Capability: Must be able to lift 75 lbs frequently.
• Technical Skill: Proficiency with power tools and the ability to read quality specifications.
• Reliability: A strong attendance record (which qualifies you for those massive bonuses!).
• Detail-Oriented: A commitment to "doing it right the first time" before sending parts down the line.
