Assist machine operators in setting up and running steel slitting equipment
Help prepare materials by positioning spacers and cutting tools to exact specifications
Support the cutting and recoiling process for steel coils
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely
Transport coils and finished product throughout the plant
Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) to ensure accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and plant guidelines
🛠What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability
