Job Description

Join a dedicated Reagent Small Vial Value Stream team where you will formulate, fill, test, and package chemical and biological reagent products in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work with production equipment, follows detailed procedures, and contributes to a high-quality, team-oriented, and goal-driven operation on second shift.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and FDA/ISO requirements in English to ensure consistent and compliant production.
  • Independently perform formulation, filling, testing, and packaging of chemical and biological reagent products according to documented procedures.
  • Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot reagent components and production instruments, including filling and packaging machines.
  • Conduct solution testing such as pH, conductivity, and density measurements to verify that products meet required specifications.
  • Ensure full compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO standards throughout all production activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and production staff, to resolve issues and continuously improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and throughput on the production line.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and legible documentation and production records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and Device History Record requirements.
  • Perform machine operation, cleaning, labeling, and packing tasks to support efficient line production.
  • Train and support new team members as needed, sharing best practices and reinforcing adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area.
  • Participate in cross-training and perform other related duties as assigned to support overall production goals.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with machine operation, including bottle or vial filling and packaging processes.
  • Familiarity with line production activities such as cleaning, labeling, and packing.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Device History Records requirements.
  • Ability to read and write in English to accurately interpret and complete production and quality documentation.
  • Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as part of routine production tasks.
  • Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or food production.
  • Understanding of FDA and ISO requirements related to production and quality systems.
  • Experience applying Good Documentation Practices in a production or laboratory setting.
  • Experience in packaging operations, including operation of filling machines and other automated equipment.
  • Comfort working in a team-oriented, goal-driven environment with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes, equipment, and cross-training opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.87 - $23.87/hr.
