NOW HIRING: Machine Operators and Parts Finishers for 3D Printing Company!

Hiring on 1st shift, 2nd shift, Weekend Shifts, and 12-hour Shifts

Responsibilities

  • Perform work instructions exactly as detailed in the job sheet for each build.
  • Load and unload parts into the media blasting machine in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Compare actual parts to job sheets and supplied drawings to verify features, basic measurements, and insert locations.
  • Visually inspect parts for defects and overall quality throughout the finishing process.
  • Remove powder from parts and hand finish individual pieces to meet specified quality standards.
  • Use various hand tools, media blasters, and finishing techniques to achieve the customer’s required finish level.
  • Reject any part that cannot be repaired to meet customer requirements and document issues as needed.
  • Notify a supervisor or appropriate contact when encountering questionable materials, defects, or discrepancies.
  • Log times and relevant information accurately on the build traveler or other production documentation.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team goals.
  • Work productively with limited supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of machine operating or sand blasting experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute work from detailed job instructions, job sheets, and drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with production or general manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to use hand tools and media blasting or sandblasting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic blueprint or drawing reading skills to verify part features and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all powder is removed and finishes meet quality expectations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects and determine whether parts can be repaired.
  • Capability to work independently and accomplish tasks without constant supervision.

This is a Contract position based out of CARLSBAD, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
