Responsibilities

  • Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.
  • Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.
  • Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.
  • Read and follow order specification documents.
  • Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set.
  • Work effectively with co-workers and establish a team approach to achieve company goals and expectations.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Successfully work in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline.
  • Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentally and physically perform at a high pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining company expectations for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Basic Math Knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Pass drug screen and physical abilities test.

Work Environment

You will work in a large facility that experiences varied temperatures, being hot in summer and cold in winter. The facility is equipped with multiple machines including 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, Platten Diecutters, and Specialty Folder Gluers. The team operates in a fast-paced environment that requires physical capability and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
