Job Description

The role involves operating various equipment to produce natural food dyes, extracts, and flavorings. You will be ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner by setting up and tending to various types of machines

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as liquid emulsions, cookers, filtering press, various pumps, mixing equipment, kettle cooker, dry blender, evaporator, and forklift.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of production and warehouse areas.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Complete Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) of emulsion plant equipment.
• Work with chemicals, including caustics and acids.
• Prepare product samples and complete necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership while primarily working independently.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of general production work at the same company.
• Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in a GMP environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification.
• Ability to work with chemicals and hot materials.
• Capability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach continuously throughout the day.
• Maintain coordination and balance while handling up to 55 lbs. of materials or products.

This is a Permanent position based out of Port Washington, WI.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
