We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Low Voltage Technicians / Installers to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean work, shows up ready to solve problems, and has hands-on experience installing and servicing low-voltage systems in residential and/or commercial environments.
You will work on a variety of systems including structured cabling, Wi-Fi/network infrastructure, surveillance cameras, access control, AV, and related low-voltage systems. We are looking for someone who is not only capable in the field, but also professional with clients, organized, and able to work well with a team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Pulling, routing, labeling, and terminating low-voltage cabling
- Installing and servicing systems such as Cat5e/Cat6, CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi/network gear, AV, and related components
- Reading plans, wiring diagrams, and basic schematics
- Testing and troubleshooting cabling and installed systems
- Maintaining clean, professional work in finished homes and active job sites
- Communicating clearly with team members, project managers, and clients
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in low-voltage installation and field work
- Ability to terminate and test Cat5e/Cat6 cleanly and correctly
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common field issues
- Ability to use basic hand tools, testers, tone generators, drills, ladders, and installation tools safely
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with CCTV, access control, AV, fiber, Control4, Savant, or phone systems
- Experience working in both residential and commercial settings
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Knowledge of basic code/safety practices for low-voltage installation
